A little more about Laurie:

Laurie Beyer is an unwavering child advocate and educator. She is currently Principal at Maidu Elementary School in Roseville, California. She was previously Vice Principal at a Jr. high and a teacher in the Twin River Unified School District for over 18 years. Laurie works diligently to break down barriers so that her school, staff, and students can always be moving forward. Laurie received the District Teacher of the Year award and various community service awards for work with students. She has such high respect and regard for every person in education and everyone who loves a child, the way they are! Her passions also include being a Mom, an ultrarunner, and dog lover.
